Accelerator cable for CA18DET 1200

Just wondering what the CA guys did for Accelerator cable in your 1200. MADDAT sell a custom 1 for $80 but id rather get 1 local in case of failure.
Any help would be appreciated.

I chopped down a VL Commodore one, and silver soldered a new ball on the end.
The silver solder needs a lot more heat when compared to regular solder. I used the Datsun 1200 connection to the firewall, I got a sharp knife and reduced the diameter of the cable to fit inside the 1200 firewall connector.

Cost bugger all.

But $80 will probably get you a nice neat one.

there is problem with the mad dat cable i used one on mine and to bolts straight in

Will Mad Dat's custom accelerator cable work on an SR20 I wonder??? I guess it just depends on if the CA and SR have similar throttle cables or not...ANYONE KNOW OFF HAND???
