Hi Nicholas

Take it to the dyno before the turbo conversion to get kw and torque readings.
After the turbo conversion take it again to the dyno to compare how much power gane you got from it.
What are you going to do to bring compression down?
And what about your points ignition system?

well i'm going to sell the buggy asap and buy a bakkie(ute) then turbo that, it's far too dangerous to turbo the buggy.
the guy that sold me the stuff was making 150kw on the wheels with the turbo only. the rest of the motor was stock stanard.

As for compression i'm using a stanard head and am going to weld it up 3mm that should drop it enough, i'm hoping to run 2bar boost when racing and 0.8bar normal driving. we will see.

this project should start first thing next year.

150kw rear-wheel power from a stock A14? That's "bench" kw. (150 kw is 201 hp). Take 1200GXman's advice and get a dyno kw reading before and after.

2 bar is 28 pounds of pressure. Will a stock A14 block take this much -- even with lowered static compression? I'd think you need crank, rod and piston work.
