Are you talking about the diferential, or a whole rear axle assembly.
I paid about $75 for a whole rear axle from a series one TRX Bluebird, complete with disc brakes & 3.9 to 1 diferential.

i'm looking for a whole rear axel setup for my ca conversion....
the trx disc brake rear end sounds awsome do they regularly go for this cheap...my guess is no.

Both the disc brakes & the diff center are being installed into a very early 200B wagon rear axle assembly. These early ones use the Japanese rear end, however production switched to the Borg Warner unit early in the piece. My wagon is a late version, so it became necessary to use the whole early model rear axle assembly to get the rear discs using only factory parts.
The 910 Bluebird rear axle assembly is the same, but wider & yes, my 200B SX mags will clear the brakes.

I bought the TRX rear end, out of the same car that donated its five speed, [now in my car], from a local wrecker.

There is a complete H165 type rear end in a 1200 ute in a wreckers in Cooma. I have posted the picture up twice & i'm told that the whole car would sell for about $100, but nobody seems to be prepared to go & get it. This ute, along with a lot of other cars is due to go to the squasher soon, so he who hesitates is lost. It can be at home in Sydney within one day if one leaves early, but ring first.

I have put the picture of the junk ute, complete with details back up. Its titled "You like my rear?" I don't know what more i can do to help.

I am not familiar with the various Nissan models that used the H190 diferential, but it would seem that series three B/birds [910] used them across the board, so one from an LX wagon would be a leaf spring type with discs. The LX & TRX car ones were also disc braked, but used a coil spring suspension.
Do they [rear axle assembly] bolt into a 1200? Not even close. They are much wider both at the spring mounts as well as overall.

In Nissanspeak, the "H" means "diferential" & the numbers after it represent the diameter of the crownwheel, in millimeters. The H190 diferential will not fit either the 1200 car housing [H145] or the ute housing [H165]
As the numbers got bigger, so too did the physical size of the diff, & the weight increased noticeably as well.

As i wrote before, there's a junk ute, complete with it's rear axle assembly, down the road a bit at the right price, & yes, i probably did do a fairly good deal on the TRX rear axle that i bought. I had done quite a bit of business with that particular wrecker at the time & he probably took pity on me.

i had heard that the H190 was only 2 inches wider than the 1200 model diffs. would it be just the leaf mounts that need to be moved to make it fit....or is it just too big and im dreaming?
