Does anyone know if all L series flywheels are the same? I pulled mine off my L20, only to find that the inside back face is very much hollowed out . (Factory casting) Do some "L"'s have lighter ones than others?

Not sure about lightness, I'd say they are all pretty heavy. L16 has 5 bolts, rest have 6 (that I know of). 2+2 Zcars have bigger diameter clutch, 240mm vs 225mm or something like that.
