Originally DATSUN Competition w/ 1.5" primaries

[edit]

I've been running the stock exhaust manifold since I built my A14 because I didn't think a cheapo (pacesetter) header was worth spending any money on.

I'm glad I waited.

HOw much was it and are there any more? Is it for round or oval ports? Thansk Oh and it looks great by the way - real snakey... But actually I like the finish on the one errol sells better ;)

Nevermind - I foudn the site. Damn the price comes out about the same as the datrats one but it'd be worth it not to have to modify it to fit around the steering box.

Is this the one they sell on Nismoparts.com? What size is the collector?

I guess I underestimated interest in a LHD header

[edit]

mine is unfinished, which is better for me as I want it jet hot coated

i really like some of the headers we see in OZ or in Japan, but i would loath having to modify them due to the steering box

mine has a 2.5" collector

that, coupled with the 1.5" primaries may mean it's not be the best choice for the street

[edit]

2332 owner, you have access to any mild street cams in your locale?

i can only get generic street cams for a-series in the states, and they have questionable profiles

I think you're better off sourcing a cam through Australia, or contact Rallytwit, I got mine from him but it's a little more than a street cam. He probably knows where to go for one nearer to you as he's in Vegas. Mild to wild cams are available here but are prohibitively expensive. Where'd you get the header, or is that a secret? I'd like an unfinished one for jet-hot coating like I've done in my ute. The ones here are all 2" and I'd like a little bigger exhaust for my supercharged A15 project.
