Well i finally got my car to the dyno today and was pretty happy with the figures it made.
160.5 rwhp at 6800rpm and 599 ft pounds of torque
all on the standard boost of 8psi

whats the rest of your setup? standard CA turbo? lets here the juicy bits, spare no detail! so about 120rwkw then. why haven't you cranked some more boost into her?

its a s14 t25 so basically stock, after market ecu, excaust, POD filter, M&W ignition.
i only had enough cash for the dyno didnt even have enough for a bleed valve so boost stayed stock for this time round.
The difference on the road is unbelivable just pulls once it stops spinning of course.
it also pulled 178kph on the dyno.

very nice indeed! so theres plenty more in it too! the s14's came out with a t28, and if its an S13 t25 they are still capable of pumping near 180rwkw's. gonna be at datnats? racing?

yeah sorry S13 t25 they are limited to 1 bar because of the cerimic wheel.
yeah there is still alot left in it but there is no traction now so im going to consentrate on the diff conversion so i can run slicks before i go and pump 14psi.
Also the standard CA18DET injectors were already at 80% so an injector upgrade will be neccesary befor there is more boost.

That torque figure sounds like plenty of fun.

S13 CA's had a T25 S13 SR's and series 1 S14 (aus delivered) had T25G's........
all later ones had T28BB's
I was told that standard 370cc CA injectors were good for around 170RWKW's but then it will go bang..... Your computer may be tuned a bit rich.....

i'm 99% sure no aussie car has ever had a ball bearing turbo even the S15's, only our little nippon friends get that little bonus with their motors also more highly tuned. the t28bb is only a jap spec thing S14 and S15. i have a jap spec t28bb on my CA .

i also thought that the CA injectors were good for 170 quite easily too. but if you're running no afm things change a little. still, 120 at the wheels is fairly standard, since you have no air con, power steering, pod, exhaust, cooler... and they're at 80%! the dyno guy isn't an injector salesman is he

Good result for a stocko Ca18 the stock injectors are only good for around 200rwhp or 150rwkw with good mixtures. Thats what mine made with 280hp gt25 @10psi
7mgte supra 460cc injectors good for 190-200rwkw with rising rate regulator.

Hey andrew...
I was actually told 170KW's by your mate at unigroup when i had my old bluey dynoed. It pulled 115KW's peaked at 10psi then dropped to 7psi at about 5500rpm...
