i can answer all thre questions i think....
best carbies for draw through, as it has been done so many times is su type carbies ( of which i have two in my garage if you would like to buy them )
about the boost gauge, just get an electronic sender unit for it and the fuel is not a problem.
and thirdly if your worried about fuel going in vac advance, just gte rid of it and have a electronic dizzy made up, jeff taylor does em for 135 bucks i think. i scored the other day when i found a stock electronic dizzy off a import a15 in a box of parts ive got off a few engines ive bought. only cost me 140 to get regraphed and im laughin. hope ive answered a few questions.

One way valve hey? Nup wont work. Might aswell leave the vacuum hose off. If you put the oneway valve the dizzy will get vacuum once and then the timing will stay in that position.
For years cars have had the vacuum advance run off the carby and after the carbie, so I dont think a little fuel vapour is a problem and the vacuum advance couldnt hold enough fuel to make much off a bang.
Electronic dizzy's still have vac advance.

you'll need to have the turbo rebuilt with a carbon front core seal (unless the cordia turbos came with one factory).

because the throttle is BEFORE the turbo now, the engine vacuum will pull oil out of the core when you're off throttle.

you will have to find out what turbo you have as they are all different in size! the ab/ac has a tco5 it is the middle size exhaust wheel might be the bigest you wont to go as the tco6 has a huge exhaust wheel it may not suite the size of your engine! the smallest is a tdo5 early aa cordia and this one has no water cooling! hope this helps, and you do have to change the front seal

how hard is it to get a carbon front seal....i suppose i could fit it....
