Hey, I'm looking at putting a new gearbox and better breaks in my 1200 coupe but dont know what gearboxes and breaks are best for 1200s... I've been told that newer nissan gearboxes can be fitted in datos reasonable easy... anyone know if this is true? If so which ones are best? Also heard the same for breaks... Any help with ideas/comment will be greatly appreciated... Cheers

With the gearbox it depends on how much horse power you want to run. There is only so much you can do with datsun a series stuff dellows do a kit for corolla 5spd gearboxes. Stanza brakes are pretty good & easy to do
