are there any better bumpers available? anyone in a country where the bumpers are want to make $$ and sell me one?

Contact member AFRacer. He PM'd me awhile back about parts from Japan for the B310. I just don't have the funds for it, but maybe he can help you. Good luck. I can't find any pics of the Japanese skinny bumpers that came stock on the B310 Sunny. If you find some please post them here cuz I'd like to see.

how insanely expensive are they?
I'm not quite ready to finish all the body work, but I'd be good to have an idea of what a new bumper will cost.

He didn't say how much to me. I just looked back at the PM and he said it may not be until this summer when he'll be able to look for bumpers. So now would be a good time to talk to him. Keep us updated.

I use Yahoo Japan to look for parts, but I don't personally have an account so I have to go through someone else. Right now the only thing I've got is a Japanese style front bumper and grill for a B210 (74-78). I'm not sure what would all be involved in converting a B310 to a Japanese front end, the B210 I believe requires an entirely different front valence as well from what I've heard. If you want me to look for and buy something you've got about 2 weeks and that's it. I am leaving Japan for good and won't be able to get anything anymore. Also FYI, Aussie front ends are the same as Japanese so I'm not the only source for these things!

You might also try user 2332owner. Not sure if he's willing to do it again, but he got me some much needed parts from a Japanese junkyard/breakers a few weeks ago.

I prefer the look of the chrome myself, but I think the plastic ones are slightly lighter weight if that matters to you.

New chrome bumbers for B310 are available in Pakistan. both front and rear. a little expensive though. about US$ 65/bumper + shipping cost
