hello everybody .... just wondering if someone could possibly give me an idiots guide to which wire goes where when changing from points dizzy/resistor/coil to an electric dizzy/coil no resistor set up ??? i have no idea what i do and don't need, especialy that wire that used to connect to the points dizzy ??!!!
all pointers will be much appreciated

Take the wire from the points dizzy to coil -neg, take the coil, take the wire from coil +pos to the ballast resistor and take the ballast resistor.
All of the above take and put somewhere else.
Now the +pos wire that went to the other side of the ballast resistor, conect this wire to the 12v coil +pos. The 2 wires on your dizzy go to coil, 1 to -neg and and the other to +pos. ( i cant tell you which goes to which?)
The car is now ready to race.
