The tech story on this model has listed as one of the features "round guages, as in the coupe" [just below pictures of the airbox] however, the photo's clearly show the standard sedan instrument cluster.

It's just a little point, but they can't both be right.

Hmmm ... thanks for pointing that out. I'm checking with our SSS guru to find out which is which.

1200SSS came with regular B110 rectangular guages and a tacho in the clock position.
Nearly all the extras - wheels, seats, cams, etc were NZ sourced/manufactured.

You wrote "drive chain modifications," but did you mean drive train modifications?

A chain is a good thing. Better than engines with belts that have to be replaced every 65k miles. All the A-series engines use a chain.

I want some of whatever you've been smoking.

Hey, I was checking out the 5spd tech article and found my brain turning to jelly. Is there any way you can revise it to be an easier read? Also, you didn't list the B210 Dog Leg 5spd under A-Series Transmissions.

I mentioned it several times, including:

Quote:
What 5-speeds are available?
... 63 series trans: large trans commonly used with L-series engines, a version was also fitted to A-series engines in B210s.

Quote:
How easy it is to swap in?
...
Any A-series rear-wheel-drive 5-speed ... 1974-1978 B210 (120Y)

... is it apricot jelly? But OK, good idea. I see one way I can improve the organization of the article. I'll work on it. You have inspired me yet again!

Thanks, that was a quote from B110SSS. I suppose he meant "drive train" instead of "drive chain". Either way, B110SSS provided some valuable information.
