That looks tuff not mutilated. Much better to pack some fat rubber than some low profile monsters. Suits the datto much better. With the traction and weight of the 1200 it would be a scary ride. Would not want to get out of the hole or be in for one hell of a rolly ride.

I love that the body looks stock, imagine pulling up to the lights in that, its just a granny mobile.... until you see those fats on the back.

So lets summarise what we have here.
Is this another great, original bodyshell, seriously deformed as part of a grand project that proved to be too big for the owner to finish, which leaves a butchered car & a bunch of parts for someone else with stars in their eyes to buy cheap?

Can the new owner finish it?
Only time will tell, but for this car, it's the end of the road, because, once it's race life is over,...if it ever makes it to the strip,... it will most likely be scrap, as it's market value will be close to zip.

It looks trendy now, but when the novelty wears off,.............

Mutilation?????
Or beautification......

Dodgeman....I don't like your thinking of never leaping into a project or hobby, just because one day the novelty will wear off. If everyone thought this way there would be a lot of great things that never would have been achieved.

And besides I doubt drag racing is gonna die anytime soon

Yeah no chance of that happening.

So what if it looks a bit ruff thats what most drag cars start out looking like in no time it will look like this.
