I've seen it described as Nissan 1300.
It's '77 1800cc OHC with two webbers, the engine is with nissan logo.
What's the real type of this Datsun model?
Is the hood original? What amout bumpers?

It looks like a model 610. This would have been known by several diferent model names in diferent parts of the world, but here in Australia, they were called the 180B SSS & they originally came with twin Hitachi [SU type] carbs, although by the end of the model run here, they were fitted with the standard single carb engine.

Those bumpers are probably the same as the US models.

Looks like a 610 (Bluebird), circa 1974. L18 engine probably. Looks stock, except for the color; black was not used in most countries.

This car has two carbs. The radiator probably comes from VW/Audi..is that a problem (overheating etc.)?
How about parts? Are they really hard to get? What are some good substitutes (i heard something that some of the Cherry fit).

I really have to consider if that car is worth buying (though is dirt cheap $350 US). The thing is, I kinda fell in love in it;) But some people tell me not to buy it..'cos parts could be a huge problem and though I'd invest some money in it..it could just look nice but couldn't run. As for now, the engine starts, but when you turn it off, it behaves a little weird.

That's right, the color isn't original. It was red.
BTW, is there any original color chart I could look at?

This is probably a German or Dutch 180b. The fenders and front bumper are not original. If you buy this, I can connect you with some people in Europe who can help you with parts. Once you do the right things to get it running good, it'll go forever

I doubt if any Cherry parts will fit.

- Cherry is the fwd counterpart to the Sunny (Datsun 1200). Both are subcompacts using A-series engines

- 610 is the replacement for the 510. Both are Bluebirds, using L-series engine, and bigger cars than the 1200s and Cherrys

anyway...it's hard decision for me. DO you think this car is worth buying?

It needs some work, some money..I'm just afraid this beauty will break down one day and I won't be able to find a part to replace.

THe main problem right now would be to get original fenders bumpers, windshield, little side window(now it;s plexi).

This cars body resembles the honey bee , haven't seen one in a while though so I may be wrong.

Resembles would be the keyword there Hotrod, Honey bee is a Sunny (A motor) this back in black beast will be standard fitment with an L motor.
