1200 ute disc brakes

ive got a 85 1200 ute with drum brakes all round , and a 81 1200 ute for spares( rusted out ) disc brake front . would it be better to put the 1200 discs in the 85 model or get say a stanza disc brake outfit to put in it , it isnt reg'd yet

Depends what you are after. If you want to upgrade into anything over 1500cc you will need the stanza upgrade for a engineers cert or of your keen for some racing. I have standard 1200 discs though and they pull up extremely well for what they are and are great for the street and a bit of performance driving. They just get hot quicker than the stanzas loosing efficientcy.

get a set of datsun sunny struts n lower control arms and buy a 15/16 brake master cylinder that works a treat been there done that
