are the starter motors on the a12 the same as the a14???
if not can you change the magnetic switch from the a14 to the a12???

u can just change the gear from an a14 2 an a12 on the starter motors and it is not hard

well i used a A12 starter on an A15 worked fine for about 6 months then it seized up when i pulleed the motor and left it in the rain....oops

It worked for me!

I put an a14 starter on an a12 and now im pullin it off the a12 today to go back on the a14 it came off. so yes they interchange!

If I recall correctly, starter for automatic transmission differs from starter for manual transmission. But otherwise A12 & A14 starters interchange.
