im lookin at gettin a lenso rim to fit my 1200 coupe an it has dimensions of

15" x 6.5"

38mm offset.

Will this fit without any modifications to the guards or will they have to be lipped?

More importantly, do i need to put in spacers to bring the offset out. Im only scared that the rim will interfere with the strut on the front wheel.

cheers

seems like a front wheel drive offset, you will need hub adaptors on the front... can get them from $70 (fawkner tyres) each to $180 each from bob janes in melbourne.
They come from 10mm to 30mm in width and bot to your existing hubs.
I sold my 25mm ones and kept a set of 10mm ones i found on ebay for $20.
Apparently only legal way of increasing track as they are secure to your hub. and at 10mm, still within the 25mm max track extension.

6.5 rims on front...NO!

You will need bolt-on or weld-on flares, and you'll need to cut out the front corner of the guard, and section and bash-in the rear of the guard.

My 15x6 inch ones only just fit..only just.

geez, my 6.5 inch rims fit on the front perfect with the 25mm hub adaptors... anything can fit if the pffset or adaptors are right... they only caught the guards on full steering lock and on full suspension travel.
