I want to fit a steering rack to a 1000, does any one know of anyone who has done this??

not a 1000,but i know of someone who used a
n12 pulsar steering rack in a 1200 ute.he had problems with the tie rod ends,but he passed away before fixing the problem.the ute has since disappeared.was built by ron johnson of ingleburn steering.
