how to check gearbox fluid?

hi all
mine is B310 with 5 speed manual

anyone know how to check the level?
cause i got strange sound from the gearbox
maybe leaking? or maybe other problem?

its like this, during idle,
if i let go the clutch ( gearbox spinning)
i will got a soft sound from gearbox...
so i dono whats wrong

and another problem is sometimes
its hard to downshift to 2nd gear..

anyone know why?

help is appreciated

to check the oil level remove the filler plug on the lh side a small amount of oil should drip out.
with the shift problem the second gear synchro is worn learn how to double clutch and change to a thinner oil.
with the noise I would think either the throw out bearing or the front input shaft bearing.
