You are right you will need sunny LCA's. Aparently you can also use sunny castor rods, I modified the 1200 ones. I also have a 120y swaybar which i did at the same time.

The only thing you really need is LCA's and struts though.

Dont need to Master cylinder either.

Hope this helped

hey guys just another question bout the struts, do they make your wheels sit different for example like further in/out guard clearance etc. also, can i still use the 1200 spring and shock or will i need new ones?????

Out from the guard. I am not sure how much as I also changed wheels. I had to do a bit of guard manipulation to make mine fit :). I used stock 1200 springs they are a bit sloppy but they seem OK for now.

I usre stock 1200 castor rods, u will have to drill out the sunny LCA. Apparenlty if you can get the sunny ones its a bolt in.

Kegs,
You will gain 10mm each side from the LCA's. You can work out if you are going to gain more track from the disk assembly by measuring from the hub face to the CL of the strut and comparing.

I'm pretty sure the sunny radius rods are the same as the 120y ones because I measured them up on 2 cars side by side at the wreckers. I ended up taking the 120y cos they were cleaner. They are about 5mm shorter than the 1200 ones for better castor, but no actual mods are needed to fit 1200 ones unless you want the castor....... and then you would have to get out the lathe to machine more thread on. Best bet is to get the right R/rods- they're not going to cost more than $5-10.

BTW: my experience is with a 78 ute... apparently earlier cars had a different ball joint set up which may change things.

hope this helps.

from memory the early 1200 struts the bolts that hold the steering arm to the bottom of the strut are closer together than the sunny ones so will also need the steering arms if you don't already have them.if the 1200 radius rods are shorter us them, more caster is good.
