Just gained three 1200 coupes so im looking at building a dedicated sport sedan for sprints

looking for a few ideas about weak spots in rails etc as i want to do some seam welding but not lots

also any ideas on fuel tanks out of some thing from the wreakers im looking for a smaller (read not as wide) tank so i can fit one good muffler beside the tank was thinking something like escort or a little late model frount drive tank any surgestions will help

most front wheel drives have smallish fuel tanks, or you could modify a mini fuel tank to fit in the boot or under it... tiny little things they are...if you find an efi one, it always gives you the option of going efi later, just have to plump it with return lines etc.

They do make very small aftermarket polly tanks that are not expensive at all. I used to run an 8 gallon tank on my racer. Came with brackets to mount in the trunk space.

Get a wagon roof line and floor and put an extra foot in one of them
