I take it that the pic's you are trying to post are of another setup you are pioneering, due to the fact your other V8 cap has already made your engine X amount of power and idle very low.
Heres to hopeing you post a pic of your joined ignition leads also

joining both leads is very basic, one end is just opended up and the other inserted into it then closed up. it slides straight onto the end of the spark plug
