I have come across a 79 210 (b310) for sale for 500 bucks, it has a 5 speed in it and I have been waiting for a donor b210 to swap in the manual parts. Will the 210 parts swap in? obviously the engine related stuff should, but what about the pedal assembly and console / shifter placement etc.

I very much doubt it. The B310 is much bigger car (though lighter). It's both wider and longer. The interior dash is different.

The engine, trans and driveshaft will all fit.

Some misc. interior parts fit. Seats fit (except for the seat rails).

like u said the engine and tranny will interchange ,but thats about it. None of the tie rods and ect. will not fit .toyally differnt car. they changed alot after 78. done run into that interchangeable thing.

The front suspension (or parts of it) can be swapped. Also, the rear axle may be of use despite it being coil spring.

Turns out its a 4 speed, I guess I will keep waiting for a B210 to come along to get my manual tranny swap in place. Whats another 3 years of waiting...

I'm pretty sure the 5-spd from the B210 has the clutch fork on the right hand side, where the 210 5-spd has the fork on the left side of the trans. I know that because I have a '79 210 5-spd trans, and an earlier 5-spd trans. with the fork on the other side.

If you go from one to the other, be sure to get the entire clutch linkage setup.

I have the same setupin mine at the moment. the slave cylender will work on either tranny, but do look a little different.
