does anyone have any photos of Datsun 1000 utes, mines pretty much in pieces, I would like to see what can be done with them

At one stage I was really tight for money and I desperately needed a tray liner for my hilux

there must be some good looking 1000 utes around.

I remember many moons ago a red one with yellow and blue "stripes" and a flat ute cover

Note that the 1970 ute still has its original ute grille. Not all of them do these days & they are a bit uncommon.
This ute is the donor organ ambulance [parts fetcher] for the Nice Car Doctor [panel beater] at his Car Hospital [panel shop] He is obvoiusly Dartsun 1000 friendly.
The 1000 coupe is mine after undergoing some reconstructive & cosmetic surgery. [repairs & painting]


































The 1200 coupe on the left is my sons & the Patrol in the background is the Nice Car Doctor's. We like Datsuns.

I just bourght a 1000 ute yesterday as a basket case not to what i will do with it
just thought it would be nice to add it to my 1000 collection

I know the one you are refering to Dattoman_1000. It was in Street Machine magazine, even though they called it a 1200. I have that issue of the mag, but no scanner. I will try and photograph the pic and upload it. That is if someone can tell me how to put pics in when replying to a thread.
