1000 coupe master cylinders

hey people, well i tried bleeding my master cylinder, and wheels but im pretty sure my master cylinder is rooted.... does anyone know where i can get master cylinders from???

Neil,.... this is your department.
[The details below have been edited to rectify an error]

I'm sure that these are still available new & can be sourced through most brake specialists.
My 1989 PBR catalogue says that the part number for the repair kit for the TOKIKO cylinder is
K7742X.
It does not list a number for the complete assembly

You could even ring Repco & see if that number still works.

hehe thanks!! i was hoping a part number would be given.. ill check repco and autopro to see what they can do for me, i checked autobarn but they only make things for datsuns from 1974 and up.

K7742X is a kit number. But my PBR book doesn't list it..... interesting.
That might be a kit for the original master and the kit # I have is for the aftermarket replacement.
Then again there were Nabco and Tokico cylinders so could be one of the alternatives.

The whole cylinder part # is JB1117 for an aftermarket unit.

That sounds like safety at a bargain price to me. After all, we wouldn't want to scratch our little treasures as a result of scrimping on primary safety components. Well, i wouldn't want to.
