My CA18 tailshaft and B/W Commo diff is about that. My CA tailshaft was based on a cut down 180B tailshaft...they are blue from the factory, and are obvious at the wreckers.

how much did it cost you to get it cut down? and is it the central bearing type or solid?

$180 in Bankstown, Sydney. They shortened the shaft, supplied a reconditioned rear yoke, and replaced the uni joints.

You'd be quoted $150 - $700 depending on whether they use new or used components.

Some applications need low production volume stepped uni-joints, and this can push the price up.

You could do a lot of this research yourself at the wrecking yard, I'd start with something that fits the bluebird box, and get a tailshaft joint place to sort you out for a H150 style one.
