depends on what your car is- there is only a handful of modern, large rims that will go on a stock datto 1200 because of the 114.3pcd stud spacing, but plenty of older stuff like jellybeans & hotwires..... just a matter of hunting the wreckers till you find them.

I happen to be running some old school enkei wheels (i think they are 92's), 14x6, I'd have to look for the offset, and I run 185-55-14 tires. The car is lowered 2" all around, I have the stock sway bar up front. I just upgraded the endlnks to help keep the fenders off the tires during hard conering. An Addco front bar is in the works. If you want pics let me know.

Be careful what wheel you get. I had a heap of trouble because I got the wrong offset. I am now running 13x6 Globes with 185's. The backspace dimension is 112mm & it is perfect for my car (1200 sedan) but it will depend on what sort of struts & brakes you are running. If you want some wheels with the WRONG offset just let me know, i have a lovely set all newly powdercoated.

Are you using the std struts and brakes? I'm looking for some rims, and was curious about backspacing and my 1200 is stock.

Duncan, maximum backspacing for a 120y strut is 114-116mm for a 13-14" rim, so you dont want to go more than about 112mm (will depend on tyres & rim width) I am pretty syre 1200's are the same as 120y. You get more backspace clearance with bigger rims due to the camber angle of the strut.

Stanza backspace is 128-130mm max so you can use rims with more offset if you do this upgrade

Edit: BTW i'm running 14x6 (185/60) +30 offset with stanza front. with 15"s you could go up to about +35 offset, or +38 to +40 if you are prepared to use spacers.

mine are 15's running 195/50 15 rubber.
Using stanza struts up the front... The wheels are very close to hitting the strut.

With the standard struts it would have needed a 10mm or more spacer on it. But there wouldn't have been any thread on the studs for the nuts to grip on.

Had to lip the guards and kind flaring the bottom bit out near the front.

Also had to put a spacer on the back to stop the wheels from rubbing on the inside.

I have gone really old school, wheels are original minilites 12" and I picked up some new 155 sr12 tyres.
If I could get all this in 13 inch with some low pro tyres that would be good but it looks the part and I am happy
cheers Ade
