1978 Ute No Hazard Lights/Switch

Just want to confirm that 1978 or earlier utes doesnt have a hazard signal switch?
Would it be difficult to install one?
Anyone done it before would like to tell me a simple instruction as Im not that good in electrics....

Yeah. Not too hard.
I put one in my '71 Sedan.

I used 2 big power diodes to the front/back blinker wires in the steering column loom. It required a second flasher unit. I installed a light switch into the choke cable hole in the dash.

This may not be the best way to do it. But it worked fine for me.

I must have a deluxe model. I've got a hazard switch on my 78 ute. It's on top of the steering column.
