Well aparently i have a A15 head and/or a oval port head on my 1000 ute (A12). I came to this conclusion because somebody from this forum pointed out that I have an extra manifold stud at the last OZDAT meet.(sorry dont know your username[Yellow 1200 ute])

I couldnt figure it out from the tech section here. and i dont want to take the r/cover off to check the stamp.

More info! I took the rocker cover off and it says H74, in the tech article it says that its a A14 head, but isnt very clear on it. It also has a smaller hole next to where the thermostat sits that is linked to the exhaust!?! WTF is that for?

Is it worth keeping this head when i rebuild or use a normal A12 head?

the h74 is mutch better than the std a12 head.
