its a very sad day, and i've dwelled on it for a long time, but i am selling my 1200 wagon. i cancelled the rego today and will be taking the motor out for another project so a lot of conversion gear is available as is the shell. the diff is pretty much spoken for at the moment, possibly by another member of this site so there will be another wheel standing 1200 just around the corner...

the shell itself is in quite good condition with no rust, but panel work and a respray is needed for a nice clean car. i have spare doors and brand new front guards for it. the tunnel has been replaced with a Z32 one and is massive!

it has had a CA18det running in it as my daily for near on a year now, so the loom is wired into the car and the crossmember etc are all still in the car. there is a surge tank and pre pump hidden underneath the rear quarter but i will be taking the high pressure pump for my next project.

the clutch has been changed to hydraulic and the brakes are using a new tandem master cyl and a sunny booster. front brakes are modified R31 struts, complete with calipers but i am taking the shocks as they are koni yellow's.

a massive (1 meter accross) intercooler and CA18det radiator modified with an SR20det top tank are available as they won't fit in my new project.

basically i'm throwing it out there as a total package (all that would be needed are a stock ECU, ignighter, motor, gearbox, fuel pump and diff... could be $1500 all up extra) to start with but if anyone is keen for parts seperately i am willing to seperate if noone wants the whole thing.

its a sad day, and i'm sure many will think i'm going to the dark side but i've had my fun and really want to see this car in the hands of another datto lover so i'm offering it here first. i still have a 1000 coupe (for now) and a 1600, soon to be 2...

hey,if ur going to seperateill take the complete dash and front quarter panels! is the dash in good condition?

well, the dash is ok... was really good but has a couple of cracks. quarter panels are brand new never been on a car. $60 each or $100 for the pair.

hey dave! yeah i'm actually feeling really crap, like i just broke up with my girlfriend or something. these datto's get me every time (tear). i just dont have the motorvation for it anymore and since the clutch went and i took the motor out i've been carless and bound to my motorbike, but if i put it back together i'm still driving around in an unfinished project and blah blah.

i think it is just time. its one freiken cool car tho, chrome roofracks, 12 second qtr's. it has gotten so many laughs when i pop the bonnet. i'm gonna miss it!

just to clarify, i didn't break up with my girlfriend, i'm breaking up with my datto... sorry for those confused!

ive also remebered i need both complete rear taillights, speedo cable, choke cable and knob, cigarette lighter and knob. cheers
