this kinda relates but i will just put it here incase umm i got a new cd player for my 1000 coupe and i was wondering if i would need to change the wiring for it to be able to work... it has a really old tape player in it right now.

Hi Shaun,

you'll need to run a new live feed with inline fuse straight from the battery to the yellow or red memory/ constant power feed and you can hook up the old power to the other red or yellow positive in or acc in on the new unit, earth is straight forward. Although I'd advise to upgrade it to a larger gauge wire and speaker wires are straighforward too, although again upgrading the wire is always a good idea especially when putting in new speakers! best of luck i had a wicked stereo in my wagon but it got rolled b4 christmas.
