Hello fellow datfreaks,
up for sale is my 1000 coupe, purchased in the hope that i had enough time to race it but my parents are getting sick of it sitting in their holiday house garage (about 2km's from phillip island GP track!!! boy am i slack!)
it definately needs some loving, but is a great base for a fun track car, or could be registered as it was when i bought it.
body is sound with a little rust in some hanging panels. it has 13 inch wheels with near new tyres. a14 with some mild port work (as i was told by the former owner who built it) with twin SU carbs. front has kissed a pole (not me) and needs a new bumper, i have another 1000 sedan grille for it and the front apron would need to be pulled out but bonnet and rad support etc. are fine.
the front brakes have been converted to vented disks with alloy calipers. the rear end is running an alloy carriered 4.11 centre from a 1200 wagon, which is locked.
interior has a race seat which is old and shabby but does the job and a three point harness. it also has a brown davis alloy rear cage. the dash is mint with not a mark on it and it has a few extra guages underneath.
the car was previously logbooked but i have yet to chase this up through cams.
i am asking $1000 (approriate really
) and if there is no interest it will go to ebay.
