hey guiys just thought id let everyone know i have my dellorto turbo a15 running, its not a great tune but runs well, just doesnt want to idle and tries to stall. although, once on boost it goes very well. just a few problems need to fix, it has a vacuum leak or something as the boost gauge fluters up and down heaps quick and doesnt smooth out. need to seal up a slight leak in the carbies, just leaks tiny bit of fuel. and i need to figure out my water injection and get the air filter sorted out so it doesnt hit the radiator.
another thing before i go tighten my head and tune my tappets, wat oil pressure shoulkd an a15 make at idle warm, mine sits on 25 at a high idle maybe 1100rpm, but if u go much lower the oil pressure drops to about 12 psi really worries me.

oil pressure should be no less than approx 20psi ive been talking to people about when hot, similar problem to what mine had.
i idleed it at 950rpm pn the webber and runs ok with 25psi at idle. Also looked into the oil pump spring...could be worn but if your engine is rebuilt should be ok if replaced.

very cool!!!

whatever you do dont run it without the air filter, cause it will kill your turbo inlet impellar

been there done that

thanks guys, really encouraging to hear positive things. i had a mate play with my tune today and has got it running a bit better, we are going to take the airbox off and get perfect throttle synch and idle speed and that then put the box back on and see what happens. its only my idle that is bad, as soon as its boosting it sounds like a jet and runs so smooth.
its just all annoying little things now, hopefully will have more news tomorrow night.
