will the diff centre from a 1200 fit in a 1000 diff housing? the 4.11 ratio is drifing me nuts on the open road

Yes, the 3,9 to 1 diff from a 1200 will fit.
I also recomend slightly larger diameter tyres to help boost the cruising ability.

no worrys i will also be puuting an a14 in it verry soon. i just have to find a peddle box so i can fit the 4 speed to go with the package
