door lock?

my passenger lock has all of a sudden stoped working everything looks 2 be intacked the button wont go down at all which means i cant lock my car up... its got me buggered ?? has anyone had this happen b4? how do u fix it,

do you have central locking?might not make a difference n e way,when my did this, the key would go in but wouldn't turn. i took the trim off and the little wire thing in the doorthat goes to the lock had popped out of its hole and jammed underneath the lock.just pushed it back in and she was right.thats all i did but yours might be diffferent.good luck

i dont have central locking but on the passenger side, my key goes in but i cant turn it, however i can lock it from the inside no worries??

I just checked mine on the passenger side and its doing the same thing.WTF!!!!!!

the door has to be completely shut before locking it, that means 2 clicks, the way the locking mechanism is designed it doesn't allow for it to be locked while the door is open.
