What qinde of music do you hear, when you

I like to hear A12 music. I haven't put a radio in I like it so much. A bit of gear, a nice roar from the exhaust ... nothing beats it. If only I could get the road hiss out, it would be heavenly.

So when I listen to recorded music while driving in my 1200 ... keeping in mind I got my first 1200 in 1982 ... I like to listen to early '80s technopop like OMD, Icehouse, dolby, etc. I was the only one at my school that drove a Datsun and listened to such music, so I always felt not part of the crowd. The others had Camaros or Fords and listened to run-of-the-mill hard rock music, whatever was popular at the time. Ah, the Datsun driver, ever the individualist.

Well 17 yrs ago when the 1200 last ahd a radio it played: Oingo Boingo , Elvis Costello , The Ramones , Sex Pistols , Dred Zepplin , Fishbone , Dead Milkmen , Bob Marley , Jimmy Cliff , Yellow man , The Cramps and The Rev Horton Heat.

These days while being worked on it hears: Oingo Boingo , Elvis Costello , Dead Milkmen , Lou Reed , The Clash , The Cramps , Bob Marley , Howling Wolf , Robert Johnson, Billy Bragg , The Rev Horton Heat , Country Dick Montana ,The Cramps and Bo Didley.

I have an ipod shuffle that is hooked to an amp in the rear electronics bay, drives some nice little speakers in the doors.

I need to turn the gain up a little, on the highway at speed the noise drowns out the music, even though the music is loud enough to make it difficult to hear the engine.

i listen to any thing heavy and heaver eg: coal chamber, devil driver, slayer, machine head, soul fly, arch enemy, slipknot, emporer, ect....

when im working at the factory I usually put on a video of drag racing and crank it up so i can hear it ,Nothing better than listenig to drag cars while working on your car ........

Iv'e got a thing for Darkness atm but anything from pearl jam,soundgarden , rage against the machine,audioslave,nickelback, that sort of thing ...oh and slipknot .
