lost 2" of tib bone most of the all of the flesh and muscle from the inside , they used half of the top of my leg ( and hip bone ) to rebuild it .

Yeah it happened on 28 december 2004 , that pic was taken feb 05 just after I got home my missus redressed it everyday took about an hour to do , I started walking in June ( if you can call it walking ) then the plate they put in failed ( bent ) so they replaced it with a nail about the thickness of your index finger from the knee to the ankle , and I started walking again in feb this year , and I can't wait to get my new busa soon Oh and it hurts most of the time
