hey guys, im looking at getting an engine conversion done at some stage and i was thinking either a CA or an SR, i have heard that SR's are hard to get roadworthy and that CA's are a bit easier...
does anyone know anything about how hard it is?

Hi its nearly impossible to do sr in qld.
I tried and couldn't find anyone who would pass it so i just went the ca with bigger turbo which is a weapon anyway.
Call Michael at pizzi automotive on 07 55 966 005 he did the engine conversion from start to finish and got it approved on my ca ute and my brothers z18 sedan

Theoretically its virtually impossible to get an SR20DET passed in NSW, naturally aspirated it should be OK.
