After not having any luck with local engineers I asked a friend if he knew if I could put an SR20DET into my sunny. He said that, because the car weighs 850kgs I could go upto 2.3 litre turbo, thus making the SR20DET a legal swap (with mod plates) in Queensland.
Can anybody verify this for me, or will I have to go for a CA18DET.
Thanks in advance.
