I have been thinking about getting rid of my ute as I have two young boys who always want to go with me and it ends in fights.

So today a guy offered me $4k for my 81 1200 ute stock as a rock with all original paperwork in very good condition rust wise. The interior is also in very good condition bar the seats. It still runs as good as ever should I sell?

I will tell you my tale of woe: 1984 a high school buddy offers me this Datsun LB100 for $250...........why would I want that , well another budyy needed a cheap reliable car. Then when I drove the car it was like hey this is a fun car , then we went to an autocorss with it and I won my class , then we took it racing and had even more fun then like a moroon I sold it cause I had a really fast single seater which was the black hole of cash then I was very very fortunate to get it back. The single seater was a rush bit it was not as fun to own as a 1200. Every track event I go to people compliment the car. Datsuns are fun and 1200's are probably the best Datto to have as there are fewer of them. It's such an unpretensious car that you have to love it
DO NOT DO NOT DO NOT NOT SELL!!!!! I'm family orieneted so I understand.......here's what you should do.
Buy a coupe or sedan and then and only then sell your Ute if you must.

Tom

If you sell your car we're all going to descend on your place like the angy mob we are!!!
