I am doing something a little different, Everyone I know just whacks a turbo on and away you go. I WANNA GO NA ALL THE WAY. I want know who out there has played with the CA18DE what have you done and what power figures are you running. At the moment mine is in bits and I am porting the ABSOLUTE hell out of the manifolds and head. I have a haltech E6K to run the show and am saving for forged pistons and custom cams. Hopefully it will move my 1200 ute sideways through third up the street. What are your ideas/suggestions/tips.

Cheers for the link dude. Allot less grease and oil on these parts than on mine. But after a week of kero washing, scrubbing bead blasting and pressure washing she is all pretty. Now it all depends on more time and allot more FUN TICKETS

Is this for a race car ?

People have got 300hp from a SR20DE so I see no reason why you couldnt get 260HP.

Ckeers killer, No its for a street car that will see some straight line fun and maybe around corners. I went to a race the other night where they let cars onto the Go-Cart track, It was pretty sweet. Got the heart pumping and the ideas flowing.

There is a sports sedan here in Australia running a very well sorted CA18DE. It might be worth googling it and trying to contact the owner.
