Funny story. I was having a look in the tech section, as i was planning to chuck my 5 speed into my sedan(the auto is giving me the ####s). Anyhow i came across some info on 63a boxes, which got me thinking about the pile of nissan gerboxes i had sitting around. I have one box that i picked up for 50 bucks with a 40mm weber thrown in that i bought cause it was cheap. Turns out it is a 63a seemingly in real good condition. The only thing is the numbers on the box dont correspond to any i can find in the tech section. So can any one tell me what box it is? the numbers on the box are 63a#3 thats all i could find. Is this an 'option 3' ? Any info would be good.

I'll wager its an L-series box, compare bell-housings

I picked up a 81 sss stanza as a wreck its got a 63a #3 gearbox in it as well if that helps
