Hi
just very desperate to fix my car
1963 N320 1200 Ute
Tie rods are connected to my drag link/centre rod/cross rod

I bought a pair Roadsafe brand from Autopro, the passenger side fits perfectly but the driver's side thread is too big.
You can screw it in but if you pull hard it comes off. I measured the diametre and the old one is roughly more than 11mm and the new one is 12.6mm (obviously too big)
went to Roadsafe/Partco and thats the only listing they have, even tried a different brand which is QH and thats the same as well.

Does anyone know where else I can find one?

repco gets their tie rods from roadsafe

no listing for the centre rod as well.
need help deperately pls

Well I don't know if it helps but for 120y's there are 2 sizes, 10mm and 12mm. The later was used in later 120y's so my guess is it should be a 10mm threaded rod right? becuase 1200's had 10mm. Ask the number jockey bum at the shop to get you a 1200 one or something to try and don't take no for an answer.

Or I just thought that mabey your tie rods and stuff was taken from another type of car at some piont so Datsun stuff won't match up?

I gave up looking I just took the centre rod to an engineer and asked them to make me a new one with a different thread on the other end.

And I bet you had to pay the engineer over $100 to do that?
