got my new motor last week from the race shop specs are a12 block bored to 76mm lightened a14 crank, a12a rods arp rod bolts custom wiseco pistons 14-1 ratio gx head 40mm intakes 33mm exhaust full port and polish custom cam split intake and exhaust profiles 244@.050 lift. took three days to install sounds great. first event this weekend can't wait to see how it runs

14 to 1, hell, at that compression ratio, you gotta be runnin' alky. Does the starter actually swing it over, or do you use another method to turn it over to start it.

starter still works engine fires instantly using 114 race gas. estimated 170hp at crank by engine builder who has built and dynoed several of these engines I didn't have mine dyno tested and think the number maybe a little high, I was looking for 150 and it is definately over that. waiting to see how long my 4.625 h145 last, any guess

I didn't take photo of piston before sending to shop, copy of wisco piston that datsun comp used to carry except shorter skirt and revised pin location for a12 block I will look through my old books to see if I can find a pic

had to have them opened just slightly for my 40mm intakes exhaust were ok

Bob has long as the launches aren't to brutal I rekon you can get a couple seasons of Autocross out of the H145 , if not longer. Seeing as your car will only be running 12 minutes a month I'd expect some good life out of the motor.
