The manual says "simply pull the horn pad off" for the 3 spoke b210 steering wheel. Im not weak and I cant get that sucker off. The column is removed and there is movement in the pad, seems to be free (not rusted or jammed)
help...

there are screws on the sedan wheel, but this wheel from the coupe, has a "hub" that has no visible fasteners.

Is it a rubber type material? If it is try peeling it of from one side, some mazdas are like this. Otherwise id have to see a picture to get a clearer idea.

Ok, try the peeling thing first. if its rubber it should be mounted on a metal or plastic base that screws to the wheel and operates the horn. you may have to gently lever the edge from under-neath with a flat screwdriver or similar. if that doesn't work, try sending the picture to me via email and i'll see if i can help you further.

Remove Keys lock the steering wheel... push in on horn pad... turn to the left ..it's tough but this is the way to remove them.
