They can add up to an inch of track each side, approximately 2.5

I can see that he has MIG welded a bolt to a tube bush - but what is going on inside the arm ? Is there an end plate that two nuts lock against or has he welded in a threaded bush?
Cheers

There is a block in the arm with a thread cut into it.

Craig said he outsourced all the welding as it had to be tig welded. The end tube was CNC cut and so was the block in the arm.

I just gave them a touch of paint to match all the other suspension and they will be going in next weekend as im still waiting for springs!

Hows yours going R-Fast?

Yeah, good mate. Good to hear of the threaded bush - should be good and strong!!
Took the beastie out a week ago and did 42 laps at Wakefield park. Went hard all day and sounded awesome Even rounded up some wannabees around the top of the track!! Pulls like a champ with 13" wheels and 4.1 diff. You are gonna enjoy it when she's finished !!
Cheers

Boof, i ordered 275lb springs in the end, figured i'd be able to get rid of them easily if they dont work well.

R-Fast, nice one, im jealous, i want to do a lap of something other than the block! Is the head all good now?

Cannot wait to get this thing moving, was only meant to come off the road to get the L-series and keep it all original and sleeperish, well thats out the window, its a bloody race car now!

I heard at the Goulburn Datnats that the Lower control arm is only legal if it can't 'self adjust'.

So this solution means that one end needs to disconnected from the crossmember for adjustment to happen. It cannot be done easily on the car.

Personally, I'd cut a right and left hand thread in the lathe and make them adjustable. Seems it could be engineered but is certainly not a 'owner certified' mod.

Yes these definitely cant self adjust!

Im hoping they will be set and forget as far as adjusting goes, it is only one bolt on the crossmember side to adjust them.
