I believe I promised Mopar and maybe someone else at the cruise and easy way to resize all those digital camera shots for easy posting to the internet.

I use a completely free program called Irfanview - not shareware, not 1 off payment, FREE.

When you have downloaded this - here is how it is done.

1. Open Irfanview and select batch conversion.



2. Select directory where the photos you want to make smaller are;



3. Click "Add all" to select all pictures for resizing



4. Click the Set Advanced Options button and pick the size of longest side you want. I pick 800, so I end up with a pic 800 x 600, which is pretty small (around 60kB).



5. Click on the Browse button near for Output directory in the main screen (you'll see this) and pic where you want the photos to go.



6. The program will resize all your pics and you are done!
