I'm trying to find out a paint code or a paint name for my 1200 so that i can try and find a colour match. The only pic i have at the moment is the one in my avatar..
Anyone got any ideas?

If it's a factory colour...
Then it's Ascot Green, Dulux 12011

Thanks dattodude, just what i needed!
Has anyone had any luck finding this colour in a spray can at your normal auto store?
Or is it a colour i'll have to visit a paint shop for?

It's also a VW colour. Shock horror!

My 'Robbos' parts place used to make up custom spray cans for me, when I had a 1200 that colour.

It's not too hard to mix.

Cheers.

most good paint suppliers should be able to match it. You can also get one of those little cans with a jar attachment on the bottom if they cant put in a pressure pack

i went to a place in bayswater and got some of that colour, they had it listed in a catalogue there for that car. i just got a tin and i planned to use a "preval" sray thing like previously mentioned to spray it on (never did though thats how i did the white, which is the original 1200 white from their catalogue)

theres more pics of that car in my album of course

if you have the paint code, bayford and also melbourne city ford can get it to original specs through ppg paints... thats how i got the kalahari tan, i just got the painter to add a touch more tint to make it lighter a bit....

how much did it cost roughly to have that pressure pack made up? would make sense for touching up those spots on my car instead of putting on bumpkiss black spots infact I could probly thicken the roof up a little
