Hello!
I'm going to "make" a new engine A12.
I need some tip's for the choises i have to make with a very low budget...

I have:
- engine, A12 (1973);
- two Solex C40 ADDHE (from Alfa75);
- 5 speed gearbox (B310);

My question's are:
Do you think that i need to do some head Work?
Biger valves?
Something else?
Thank's!

Be careful of the emissions carbs getting them lean enough without major hesitation.

Other than that, cam and head work to suit the carbs.

Around the valve steams on A12's is really S^^t so getting that done well goes a long way.

Talk to an good engine build and they'll tell you the ports a cam is where you get the power and if there really smart they'll tell you that valve spring are what stopping power be made in high HP engines.
