I was thinking of redrilling the holes in my crossmember to move the lower control arm pivot point further out and further up in an attempt to give some neg camber and correct the LCA angle after lowering.. Would there be any negatives to doing this?
I have seen them drilled further out before to gain the negative camber but i have not noticed anyone move the pivot point upwards.. is there a reason?

yes, there's a reason. moving the pivot upwards will alter the angle of the LCA relative to the tie rod. This will mean they will travel though different arcs as the suspension moves and it WILL cause bump steer.

better way to 'correct' the angle of the LCA is to fit a spacer between the strut and steering arm, which moves both the LCA and the tie rod at the same time.

Or just don't lower it so far...

This so-called correction of LCA angle is really a roll centre adjustment.

Will this effect also come into play with the implemntation of adjustable rose jointed bottom arms?
I don't plan to go obscenely low, but I do plan to dial on some camber down the track.
