OK, I'm building my 1200 now and want to go to some meets. Where are some meets in the US? Mainly around the southwest but anywhere from the midwest to the west. Also, why is there so many in the northwest?

Check with club members Dimlight and Tens & Twenties. They are from Texas.

We have so many meets up here because this is an excellent place to live, and there are a lot of cars in these parts.

The datsun meet at Canby, Oregon had somewhere around 150 cars. Shasta, California has about the same.

If you want to see a show happen in your area, start a club, rent a space, send out the info to popular websites and forums, and have a show. That's what we (Datsuns NW) did.

The next show is next week in Vancouver BC.

Why so many shows in the Pacific NW? Maybe because it is the coolest place on the continent (not cold, just cool and rainy, keeps our Datsuns all shiny).

The next show after that is the big Japanese show Sep 30(?) Long Beach, CA. I thinking of driving the 1000 miles...

Frankly I cannot recall any Nissan-Datsun shows in other states that any 1200s attended. People, wake up! There have been some club events, like the Nissan headquarter meets.
